Bruno Pisano
President and CEO
As HEDLOC’s co-founder and President & CEO, Bruno Pisano guides the company’s strategic direction and drives its financial performance. He brings two decades of experience in enterprise IT solutions delivery for both commercial and public sector customers. His focus is on ensuring customer success by delivering software solutions that provide true innovation and strategic business value.
As a former senior sales executive at Mercury, Mr Pisano is most recognized for driving Mercury’s hyper-growth phase in both commercial and government sectors from 2000 to 2005. With his solutions-oriented approach, he secured the strategic business of many enterprise customers such as Westpac, Vodafone, Qantas, Citibank, Travelex, Department of Defence, Australian Taxation Office, Australian Customs Service, Australian Federal Police, Reserve Bank of Australia, ComSuper and the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations. He also established strategic business relationships with key partners including IBM Global Services, Accenture and CSC to drive results for Mercury and their customers.
Prior to Mercury, Mr Pisano was employed by Progress Software where he played an instrumental role in the company’s multi-channel ISV model. There he helped drive growth via the enablement of customers and partners to develop market aligned applications, including the delivery of those via the then coined ASP model now more commonly known as SaaS. Mr Pisano has also held several senior roles at Allette Systems, Optus and the Australian Stock Exchange, where he began his career.
Mr Pisano holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Pure Mathematics from The University of Sydney.
Sia Pisano
Vice President and COO
As HEDLOC’s co-founder and Vice President & COO, Sia Pisano brings to the company almost two decades of business, management and professional services experience in the IT industry.
A results-oriented leader with strong financial and corporate expansion experience, Ms Pisano offers HEDLOC a well-balanced portfolio of skills including general and financial management, operations, marketing, business development, strategic planning, and professional services. With ultimate responsibility for the company’s delivery capability Ms Pisano drives the strategic outcomes for HEDLOC Operations including Finance, HR, Legal, Marketing, PR, Services, Support & Training teams.
As the former CEO for a successful IT Services company for almost 10 years, Ms Pisano is a well recognised and reputable individual with a proven track record in delivering large scale projects for customers such as Siemens, Commonwealth Bank, AMP, St George Bank, Powercor, ESANDA/ANZ Bank, Pacific Dunlop, TXU Limited, United Energy, Department of Industry, Tourism and Resources, Invest Australia, Attorney General’s Department, Centrelink, National Registration Authority, Defence Housing Authority, Department of Finance & Administration, Australian Taxation Office, and the Reserve Bank of Australia.
In previous senior roles such as Program Manager, Projects Director, and Testing Director, Ms Pisano’s projects on average ranged from $1M to $70M encompassing teams of 30-180 staff, with a consolidated total to date in excess of $500M. In 2005, Ms Pisano was awarded the Secretary’s Award at the Department of Finance & Administration for the successful delivery of a strategic project within the Department.
Ms Pisano is a member of the Australian Institute of Management (AIM) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics, Finance & Law), a Post-Graduate Certificate in Management (Project Management & Marketing Management) and a number of professional certifications including Prince2 & ISTQB Certifications.
